Ray is a passionate pianist, singer & composer living in Vancouver, BC with more than 17 years of musical experience.

Ray has played in several events throughout his career, such as band recitals and contests, bar/restaurant gigs, classical piano recitals, accompanying singers/violinists, chamber music recitals, original music shows and more! Having studied classical piano, his music is greatly influenced by classical music, but also by his Mexican roots and mostly by an always-present Alternative rock sound influenced by bands like Muse, Keane, Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, etc.

Ray has written more than 25 songs waiting to be released throughout 2024-2025.

His first singles 'I Know' and 'Closure' were released in February / September 2023 and mark the beginning of his solo music career in Canada.

Pianist by passion, Ray loves music in general, from playing classical piano, singing, and composing. Passion and quality can be expected from him every time he engages with a music project.

In Vancouver, he has played in venues such as Guilt & Co. & The Roxy with his full-band show and at the Gastown Sessions held by Paco Cervantes' @MusicayMezcal. As well as a session musician at venues such as the Fairmont & Sheraton hotels, Restaurants & Cafés all over Metro Vancouver, at the Honda Celebration of Lights 2023, BC place, The Commodore, Red Room and more.
